You may have a lot of thoughts running through your head right now about being a Church School teacher or director, especially if this is your first year. It can be overwhelming. What will I talk about? How do I plan a lesson? What if I forget to follow my lesson plan or forget to ask a question? What if the kids misbehave, how will I handle that? What if the kids don’t like me?  Hey, I know.  I’ve been there.

There’s a lot to think about and where do you begin?  From now until the start of the school year, I am going to post information for new and returning teachers and church school directors to help you throughout the year. You can do it! It won’t be as bad as your imagination makes it out to be.  🙂

I’ll address all sorts of topics, from where to start planning, classroom set up, what makes a great lesson, time management & class schedule, what is your purpose, and more!  Have a topic you want to learn more about? Let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Until next time, relax, breathe and, above all, pray.  Pray that the Lord will guide you and strengthen you this school year.
